KTL painting division has oppened 4-shift production again. It is reaction to increased demands for KTL painting. Lakum solves problem of on time deliveries to its customers by this way.

Lakum Group offers free capacity in all of its divisions.

Some of Correan suppliers to Hyundai and Kia Motors company became cooperation with Lakum in KTL painting field.

CNC divissio developed its own products made from stainless steel. It was mainly office furnitures accessories, bio ethanol fires and multipurposes trolleys.

Start of enamelling surface treatment.

Selection procedure for a purchase of a press machine 400 t was suspended. This is caused by perpetual delays in decisions about awarding the subsidies , by the CI agency.

In the selection procedure for a supplier of a new KTL line, the Ideal Trade Service, s.r.o. won the contract.

LAKUM KTL received subsidies from the SROP programme for construction of a new cataphoretic line. This action will take place in the year 2007. The objective is to start a new technology at the beginning of the year 2008. LAKUM-KTL, a.s. should thus increase its annual capacity of painting up to 1 mil. m2 of painting area.

This action is co-financed by the European Union and, the Moravian-Silesian Region at the level of 12 mil. CZK.

Together with the construction of the new cataphoretic painting line, there will be a temporary suspension of the powder painting line. This is because some space has to be untied for the new KTL line. The powder painting line will be moved to another part of the premises. There expected start up of this process following the reconstruction would be December 2008. Existing obligations towards clients in the field of painting by powdered painting substances, shall be discharged by the LAKUM-KTL, a.s. in a cooperative manner.

In the selection procedure a contract to train firm employees for use of the information system was awarded to the company River Data, s.r.o.
